Research and sourcing

We prioritize official rulebooks, publisher documentation, developer or platform documentation, and other primary sources when a factual claim depends on a specific rule, feature, release, or product detail. Secondary sources may be used for context, but they should not replace an available primary source for a precise claim.

Hands-on claims

We do not describe something as personally tested or played unless that experience actually occurred and can be described accurately. When an article is based on research, comparison, or editorial analysis rather than hands-on testing, the wording should make that clear.

Time-sensitive information

Prices, app features, product availability, ratings, review counts, and release plans can change. We avoid treating those details as permanent facts. Readers should check the official source before making a purchase or relying on a time-sensitive feature.

Reviews and recommendations

Recommendations should explain the practical criteria behind them, including strengths, limitations, and the type of player or Game Master who is most likely to benefit. We do not rank products solely to fill a list, and we do not invent scores or user statistics.

Corrections and updates

When we confirm a meaningful factual error, broken reference, or outdated statement, we correct the affected article. Larger changes may also update the article’s modified date. Readers can report possible errors through the Contact Us page.
